The Rouen Huskies continue to reinforce their roster for the 2016 season in the French Division I and the CEB Cup. They have signed catcher Andrew Medeiros from the Belgian First Division champion Deurne Spartans. The 25-year-old American is a graduate of Westfield State University (NCAA Division III).

After college he still wanted to play baseball and signed with the independent league club Douglas Diasblos of the Pecos League in 2014. He then went on to play in Australia and eventually in Belgium. He is the third new acquisition for Rouen after Anthony Piquet and Marc-Andre Habeck. Teams from the German Baseball-Bundesliga also were interested in the player, who also can play the hot corner. However in the end he selected the Huskies for the 2016 season.
