Czech Republic is celebrating May 8th as a day of the end of World War II. This date is a public holiday in the country and also the traditional date for the All Star game. The Czech baseball champion from the previous year always plays against the Czech National Baseball team. However in the history of the All Star game nobody except DRACI BRNO got the nod to play against the national squad, through to the dominance of the champion. On Thursday the All Star game, joined with other baseball related activities, starts in MBS Brno stadium at 12am.
Schedule of All Star Day Thursday May 8th:
12:30 baseball skill competition (homerun derby, fast hand, fast legs – relay, etc.)
13:55 opening ceremony with ceremonial pitch
14:00 AVG Draci Brno vs. Czech Republic
16:30 benefit auction
Accompanying events for visitors: trampoline, children’s corner, mini-baseball, fast hand, batting cage.
