Italy’s Alex Liddi of the Seattle Mariners is not only playing at third base this Spring Training, but also at first. His manager Eric Wedge in an MLB.com article:
“We’ll bounce him between first and third,” Wedge said. “As he’s working to make that transition from Minor Leagues to the big leagues, we’re not sure how that will play out this spring and I want that to be an option for him. It can only help him and help us with that versatility.”
