Italian corner infielder Alex Liddi got released by the Baltimore Orioles at the end of Spring Training, but already has found a new home. The 27-year-old, who made his MLB debut in 2012 with the Seattle Mariners, played only in one MLB game during the Grapefruit League schedule. However he is staying in professional baseball after signing a contract with the Mexican League team Tigres de Quintana Roo. Liddi is familiar with Mexican baseball after playing there a couple of times during the winter.
