Italian right-handed pitcher Alessandro Maestri will start his third season in Nippon Professional Baseball with the Minor League team of the ORIX Buffaloes. Due to regulations the Buffaloes are only allowed to have four foreign players on the roster. These spots currently belong to Brandon Dickson, Esteban German, Tony Blanco and Bryan Bullington. It’s no new situation for Maestri, who has been going up and down regularly in the past three years.
