Two Adrians are in danger to miss the 2017 World Baseball Classic after injuries. Adrian Beltre of the Texas Rangers and the Dominican Republic suffered a strained calf and is expected to miss at least two to three weeks. While the 37-year-old probably still will make opening day in Major League Baseball with the injury the Rangers now can block his participation in the WBC. Also Adrian Gonzalez has been shut down for two weeks. The 34-year-old of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Mexico suffered a tennis elbow and will not do batting practice for two weeks due to the inflammation. He already has rested five days and he still hopes to make the WBC. His brother Edgar Gonzalez is the manager of Team Mexico.
