Telemarket Rimini continues to bolster its roster in their quest to win the Italian Baseball League this year. The 36-year-old Adolfo Gomez joins the Pirates for the reminder of the season. He can play short, second and third, giving the coaching staff another option besides Jack Santora, Ramon Castro and Babini. He has played in Italy before, wearing the jerseys of Modena and Parma in the top division, while lastly playing for Sala Baganza. During the winter he was in the Colombian Winter League. He already will be available for Rimini’s games against Nettuno this weekend.
