The Australian Baseball League announced on Thursday that the Adelaide Bite will be renamed into Adelaide Giants for the 2019 season. It is the original name of the organization, which was founded in 1989. The name “Bite” was introduced for the inaugural season in the Australian Baseball League in 2010. The new season opens on November 21.
