Former Minor Leaguer Aaron Hornostaj returns to the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. The 32-year-old infielder played for Heidenheim in 2012 batting .431. He replaces the injured Thomas Di Bendetto on the roster of the reigning German title holder. The Canadian with British passport played eight seasons for the San Francisco Giants organization, reaching Triple-A. He then moved to Europe playing in Spain, France and Poland besides his first stint in Germany.
