Former minor league infielder Aaron Hornostaj remains on the move in European Baseball. After joining the Stuttgart Reds a couple of weeks he transfers a couple of kilometers to the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. The 29-year-old Canadian with British passport, who spent eight seasons with the San Francisco Giants organization, is supposed to play at third and second for the current leader in the southern division of the German Baseball-Bundesliga. He is already eligible to be used this evening, when the Heidekoepfe take on the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg. Before coming to Germany, Hornostaj had played for the Rouen Huskies in the French Elite League and for the Astros Valencia in the Spanish Division de Honor. Heidenheim also confirmed that they have parted ways with British national teamer Sean Begley.
