A Report from the CEB Congress 2008

Posted on April 10, 2008April 10, 2008 by philipp

by Confederation of European Baseball (CEB)

The CEB Congress 2008 in Malta was a very well organized conference.

Unfortunately some of the Delegates had to stay in another hotel due to over bookings, which was announced to the federation only three days in advance and caused a lot of trouble. But the organizing federation of Malta did a great job in dealing with this problem.

The hotel facilities and meeting rooms were judged very satisfactorily by the delegates and this year’s workshops (7 in total) got almost only positive feedback.

During the Congress the Presidential Report, Technical Commission Report, Development Commission Report and the Financial Report for 2007 were approved, just as the Budget for 2008.

San Marino was chosen to host the 2009 Congress during the third week of March 2009.

In summary this Congress was a great success. Many thanks to the Maltese Baseball Association for all their preparations and arrangements!
