Diving Ducks versus Metrostars in ABL on Thursday

Posted on May 20, 2009 by philipp

The local rivalry between the DIVING DUCKS and the METROSTARS will receive new material, when the two Vienna based club meet on Thursday at the Ducks Field to kick off another game day in the Austrian Baseball League. It is the second game against a team from Vienna for the DUCKS in five days, as they lost twice to leader SUPERFUND WANDERERS last Saturday. The METS were off last weekend after losing both games in SCHWECHAT on May 10.

Three more matchups are scheduled for the upcoming weekend, highlighted by the doubleheader between leader WANDERERS and last year’s champion MOSQUITO ATHLETICS, which reinforced their roster with two new American players last week.
