Posted on May 4, 2018 by philipp

After the Dutch Hoofdklasse finally got underway last weekend, four games of week two were played on Thursday. Curacao Neptunus improved to 4-0 for the season with a 9-1 win over HCAW. In other games DSS and the Hoofddorp Pioniers settled for a 3-3 tie after ten innings. DSS had turned a 0-2 deficit into a 3-2 lead in the top of the eighth, but Hoofddorp tied the game in the bottom half of the frame. L&D Amsterdam scored a run in the bottom of the eighth to edge out the De Glaskoning Twins 3-2. Linoy Croes drove in two and scored the game-winner. In a high-scoring affair Quick Amersfoort downed the Silicon Storks 11-8.
