The head coach of the German Baseball-Bundesliga club DORTMUND WANDERERS Jens Hawlitzky, who recently extended his contract through 2009, is traveling to the United States to hold tryouts. He is looking  for players, who want to come to Europe next season.

The first tryout is set for December 28th at 10 am local time at the facilities of Homerun Sports and Fitness in Chicago, Illinois (www.homerunsportsandfitness.com). Hawlitzky is also attending the American Baseball Coaches Association Convention (ABCA) in San Diego on January 2nd and 3rd (www.ABCA.org) and is open to look at players there too.

He is writing full scouting reports on every player and is willing to share his information with other coaches in Europe.  Interested players and coaches can contact him at jens.hawlitzky@dortmund-wanderers.de
