2025 Baseball5 Euros Day 3

Posted on November 7, 2025November 8, 2025 by Gabriel Fidler

One major upset and a couple of surprises made the 2025 Baseball5 European Championship Round of 16 especially interesting, while the quarterfinals are now set, with only eight teams now in the running for the 2025 Baseball5 Euros title. Türkiye, Spain, France, and Lithuania all maintained their perfect records, and they will be joined in the final eight by Italy, Belgium, Denmark, and Romania. Denmark executed the tournament’s biggest giant killing, knocking of the Netherlands in only sets in the Round of 16, while Romania unseated Estonia, which had finished second in Group C.

The Placement Round began play in the latter portion of the day, with Bulgaria and Moldova scoring two-set victories, while Estonia squeaked by a competitive Ukraine in three contests. The Netherlands earned a forfeit victory over the absent Israel squad. The battle for places nine to sixteen will recommence at the start of Day 4, while the semifinals follow later in the day.
