Posted on November 11, 2019 by philipp

The Super Round at the 2019 Premier12 started on Monday with three games in Chiba and Tokyo. The first-round winners Mexico, Japan and Korea kicked off the final round with wins to improve to 2-0 each in the round robin. Mexico shut out Chinese Taipei 2-0 behind a combined three-hitter. Roman Solis connected for a solo home run. Japan erased a 0-2 deficit against a strong Australian squad, prevailing 3-2. A bases-loaded walk pushed the winning run over the plate in the bottom of the eighth. Jaehwan Kim hit a three-run home run in the first in Korea’s 5-1 victory over the United States. Brent Rooker homered for the US team.
