The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced the 9th edition of the Challenge de France. The 2012 tournament for the eight Division 1 teams in French Baseball will be played from May 17 to 20 at venues, which will be determined later. The two pools for the preliminary round are already set. A complete and detailed schedule will be announced in the future.
- Pool A: Beaucaire Chevaliers – Montpellier Barracudas – Pessac Panthères – Sénart Templiers
- Pool B: Paris UC – Rouen Huskies (defending champion) – Savigny Lions – Stade Toulousain Baseball
