2011 Schedule for French Junior National Team set

The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced the schedule for the Junior National Team en route to the European Championship in Gijon, Spain from July 4th to 10th. The squad of head coach Gerardo Leroux starts with training camps in Toulouse, Rouen and Montpellier and will finish preparations on site one week before the tournament begins. They also released a preliminary roster (PDF-File).

French Junior National Team in 2011:

  • January 21-23: Training Camp in Toulouse
  • February 18-20: Training Camp in Rouen
  • March 18-20: Tournament in Montpellier
  • April 20-25: Training Camp and Tourney in Toulouse
  • June 20-24: Training Camp in Toulouse
  • June 27-29: Training Camp in Toulouse
  • June 30-July 3: Training Camp in Gijon, Spain
  • July 4-10: European Junior Championship in Gijon, Spain
  • August: interleague competition in preparation for 2012
