The Prague Baseball Week (PBW) was moved a few weeks back on the calendar, so the Czech National Team can use the five-day tournament as preparation for the upcoming European Championship in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg. Overall seven teams will play in the PBW, including the Senior and Junior National Team of the Czech Republic, Croatia, Russia, Austria, Israel and a Selection of American Players.
The PBW will take place from July 13th to 17th at the facilities of the Prague Eagles, which also hosted games of the 2009 Baseball World Cup. There is a little time conflict for the Czech Senior National Team, as they are also scheduled to play in the Italian Baseball Week on July 16 and 17. So it is quite possible that the Czech Baseball Association is going to use the Czech Under-21 team in the PBW, at least for the last two or three days of the tournament.
