2009 Elite League Season debuts with 3 Matchups on March 29

The 2009 Elite League season in France will kick off on March 29th with three doubleheaders, as the French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) released the schedule this week. The two first-ranked clubs from 2008, the ROUEN HUSKIES and the TEMPLIERS SENART will start later, as both will play in the European Cups in Italy from March 31st to April 4th. They are supposed to begin on April 5th, although it is expected that they will reschedule these games as well.

First Game Day on March 29th:
Montpellier Barracudas – Savigny Lions
Arvernes Clermont-Ferrand – Montigny Cougars
Stade Toulousain – La Guerche Hawks
(Rouen vs. Senart rescheduled for April 13/14)
