Organized by the German Baseball Academy (DBA) an inaugural German Junior Championship Showcase is planned for the 2013 season. The four-day tournament will feature teams from the Paderborn and Regensburg Baseball Academies, the Rhein Main Baseball Academy in Mainz and the DBA Junior All Stars. The DBA Junior All Stars will be comprised of players which are not part of any of aforementioned academies. It is going to be a round-robin format with semi-finals and finals afterwards. All games will last seven innings. The organizers will invite all scouts in Europe and a couple of college recruiters from North America. A date or a venue for the event hasn’t been determined yet.
