Olympics Baseball: Roundup August 16/17



Six teams had the day off on Sunday with Korea and China completing the suspended match from Thursday. Korea now is tied for the lead in the standings with a 4-0 record. Also unbeaten is Cuba after another one-run victory on Saturday, their third in four games played. Both will face each other on Tuesday in a showdown for first place.

In third and fourth are the USA and Japan with two wins each. The other four teams China, Netherlands, Canada and Taiwan all are tied for fifth with one victory each. They still have chances to move into the top four with three remaining preliminary round games.
