Draci Brno finishes 1st in European Cup Playoff

The home team AVG DRACI BRNO took first place at the first of two European Cup Playoffs. They defeated KNTU 8-1 on Sunday to remain undefeated in the three-day tournament and held on to the Czech spot in next year’s edition of the European Cup. The second game between these two teams was not necessary and got cancelled. The second playoff takes place next weekend in Antwerp, Belgium.

Dinamo – KNTU 3-13
KNTU – Dinamo 2-6
Saturday, September 13:
Dinamo – Draci Brno 0-12
Draci Brno – Dinamo 14-0 (8)
Sunday, September 14:
KNTU – Draci Brno 1-8

Final Standings:

  1. Draci Brno (CZE) 3-0
  2. KNTU (UKR) 1-2
  3. Dinamo (ROM) 1-3
