As we did in the last couple of years, we want to use the offseason to look back at the statistical performances by the teams in Europe’s top baseball leagues this past season. At the plate for the first part is the Dutch Hoofdklasse.

Being the promoted team in the Hoofdklasse, UVV didn’t disappoint and was able to play at the same level like the top four teams with only inconsistency stopping them from a playoff qualification. During the playdowns the club from Utrecht won seven of the nine games to easily secure its spot in the 2012 campaign.
