2011 in Review – Dutch Hoofdklasse – ADO

As we did in the last couple of years, we want to use the offseason to look back at the statistical performances by the teams in Europe’s top baseball leagues this past season. At the plate for the first part is the Dutch Hoofdklasse.

ADO

2011 Record: 5-37
2011 Ranking: 8th place in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. But after finishing in fourth place in the playdowns, ADO was able to win the promotion/relegation series in four games against the Euro Stars to maintain its spot in the Hoofdklasse.
Runs Scored: 116 (8th)
Runs Allowed: 367 (8th)

Best Batter: Gyenuar Lopez – He batted .347 (OBP .416/SLG .463) with 11 extra base hits, 13 runs and 11 RBI in 35 games for the club from The Hague.

Most Homeruns: Enrique Tromp 4
Most RBI: Jair Roseburg 18
Most Runs Scored: Jair Roseburg, Jareau Martina 15
Most Stolen Bases: Gyenuar Lopez, Jair Roseburg 8

Best Pitcher: Nick Martin – He had a 1-12 record with an ERA of 4.91 in 14 games (12 starts), striking out 59 batters in 77 innings, while walking 50.
Best ERA Starter: Nick Martin 4.91
Best ERA Reliever: Carlos Tavares 4.75
Most Strikeouts: Nick Martin 59
Most Walks: Carlos Tavares 83
Most Innings Pitched: Jurandy Girigori 84.2
