(Update) 2010 European Player Showcase with 28 Players in Florida

After last year’s successful first edition of a European Player Showcase at USA Baseball’s complex in Durham, North Carolina, the European Baseball Academies selected 29 players in 2010. The roster of European prospects to show off their skills with the premise to find a spot at a North American college will make the trip to Florida this time to play six games from September 24 to October 1. Ten pitchers, four catchers, six outfielders and eight infielders from the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France and Belgium will be aboard.

10am Doubleheader (6 Innings) at Al Lang Field in St. Petersburg, Florida

Saturday, September 25:
1.30pm-4pm Practice at Al Lang Field in St. Petersburg, Florida

Sunday, September 26:
9.30am Single Game (6 Innings) at Al Lang Field in St. Petersburg, Florida

Monday, September 27:
6pm-8.30pm Practice at Eagle Field, Tallahassee Community College

Tuesday, September 28:
6.30pm Single Game (9 Innings) at Eagle Field, Tallahassee Community College
