2009 in Review – Swedish Elitserien – Leksand Lumberjacks

After looking at the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic, Mister-Baseball continues its review series with the Swedish Elitserien.

2009 Record: 12-12
2009 Ranking: 4th place in Elitserien. The Lumberjacks reached the top-six round with a 5-9 record in sixth place, but were able to go 7-3 the rest of the way, qualifying for the semi-finals. They were eliminated by Tranås, losing the best-of-three series 1-2, including a 14-inning thriller in the decisive third match.
