Dutch right-handed pitcher Rick van den Hurk isn’t staying with the Cleveland Indians after all. Following getting designated for assignment by the MLB organization he refused to accept a minor league offer to pitch for the Triple-A team in Columbus. Therefore he became free agent and is looking to find another employer in professional baseball. Van den Hurk already got designated for assignment by the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays this winter. He had begun his MLB career with the Florida Marlins and looks back at eight seasons in the Minors and Majors.
