FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem and Dinet Oosting were the big winners during the sports award announcements in Haarlem, Netherlands. Olympia Haarlem, which won the Dutch Golden League Softball and the European Cup Winners Cup in 2017 was named best team of the year, while their catcher Dinet Oosting received honors as best sports woman of the year, edging out reigning Judo World and European Champion Kim Polling.
