Posted on June 13, 2012June 13, 2012 by philipp

German first baseman/outfielder Donald Lutz was named to the all-star team of the California League, which will play against the best players from the Carolina League on June 19. However since the 23-year-old of the Bakersfield Blaze is currently rehabbing an oblique injury in Arizona he won’t play. Before being sidelined he was one of the best players in the league, batting .306/.363/.617 with 13 homeruns, 16 doubles, 35 runs and 39 RBI in 46 games. He is expected to return in 10-14 days.
