Outfielder Chris Dickerson of the New York Yankees is the fourth Major League player to officially sign up for the European Big League Tour besides founder Rick van den Hurk, Jeremy Guthrie and Roger Bernadina. The 30-year-old Dickerson attended the University of Nevada and played in the big leagues for the Cincinnati Reds, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Yankees. He is also one of the founders of Players for the Planet, a foundation that brings professional athletes together to inspire communities to build awareness of the alleged growing environmental crisis. The European Big League Tour will be held in Rotterdam (November 10&11) and London (November 17).
