The organizers of the IBAF Baseball World Cup in Germany published another press release on Friday. They have assigned the order to build the temporary grand stands at the ballpark in Regensburg to the German Nüssli company. For the tournament the capacity of the Armin Wolf Arena is going to be extended from 1.100 to 11.548 seats. Nüssli needs ten days to install the stands.
Armin Zimmermann, one of the heads of the organizing committee, said that the interest in the tournament is growing and inquiries for ticket reservations are coming in every day. There is going to be a press conference on December 22nd to introduce the online ticketing system and the price categories. They hope to start with the presale before Christmas.
