Posted on October 2, 2009 by philipp

The HOBOKEN PIONEERS will meet the PORT OF ANTWERP GREYS in the Belgian Championship Series. The best-of-five series is scheduled to start this weekend. The PIONEERS were first in the regular season and in the playoff round robin and try to capture their first Belgian title since 1970.

The GREYS on the other hand have won already 23 championships, including the last four in a row. They were tied with HOBOKEN in the regular season with a 19-8 record, but finished in second due to the tiebreakers.
