Three rounds at the 2009 Baseball World Cup are finished and the tournament nearly is history. The attendance numbers in the second and especially the third round weren’t pretty, but the competition and TV coverage was better than in the past. On Friday again only 2,800 people showed up for the four games, which was actually an improvement to the beginning of the week. With the decisive games upcoming we hopefully see packed stadiums this weekend. On Saturday the classification games will determine the ranks from third to eighth. The big final is scheduled for Sunday at 3pm CET in Nettuno.
