Netherlands Antilles reveal final Baseball World Cup Roster

Rogier van Zon of Honkbalsite.com published the final Baseball World Cup roster of the Netherlands Antilles on his website on Friday evening. Four players from the Dutch Hoofdklasse will make the trip to Sweden among the 24 total, Ludwin Obispo (ADO), Rafael Jozefa (Kinheim), Eldrion Regina (Sparta/Feyenoord) and Andley Simmons (Pioniers).

Also aboard are the Italian Baseball Leaguers Johannes Gregorius Jr., Randolph Kirindongo, Ulrich Snijders and Ardley Jansen (all San Marino). The lone current Minor Leaguer on the team is Raywendley van Gurp of the Gulf Coast League Mets.

The Netherlands Antilles are going to open Pool C of the Baseball World Cup on September 9th against host Sweden in the new-built ballpark in Sundbyberg. They also will play against Canada and South Korea in the first round.
