Couple of hours before the first pitch of the first World Cup game in Prague, IBAF representatives, officials, representatives from teams, LOC and significant people will have the honor of being present at the reception in the Prague Mayor’s Residence.
Mudr. Pavel Bém, Mayor of Prague, is an active sportsman. He loves mountaineering; in 2007 he managed to climb Mount Everest. He knows baseball very well and he already pitched several ceremonious pitches, especially during Prague Baseball Week which takes place in Prague every year.
Gala dinner will be definitely an important event which can reinforce cooperation and relationships between the city of Prague and baseball community.
