The first ever CEB umpire clinic was held on July 18th and 19th at University of Latvia in Riga. 24 participants from Latvia and Estonia attended theoretical course and on-field practical lessons. Clinic was run by Tony Jones, CEB umpire and Development board member. Two attendants (Didzis Doveika from Latvia and Koit Laasik from Estonia) had an opportunity to use their new skills as base umpires during the games of Latvian Open Baseball Championship between Riga Diamonds/University of Latvia and Estonian national team while Tony Jones umpiring the plate.
