Savigny hosts La Guerche in Battle for 4th Playoff Spot in France

Posted on July 18, 2009 by philipp

La Guerche Hawks look for two Wins in Savigny

The HAWKS travel to SAVIGNY on Sunday in the French Elite League, trying to win twice, pass the LIONS in the standings and clinch the last playoff berth. In May the teams settled for split. A repeat of the result and LA GUERCHE would be eliminated. Additionally the ROUEN HUSKIES and the MONTPELLIER BARRACUDAS will clash for first place. Both teams ride winning streaks in the double digits and have a bunch of make-up games left on the schedule. But the direct duel should decide over the top seed going into the postseason round in September.
