The race for the fourth playoff spot in the French Elite League is down to two teams. The LA GUERCHE HAWKS dropped their sixth and seventh game in a row against the ROUEN HUSKIES. They now need to win both games against the SAVIGNY LIONS next weekend to advance into the postseason. The LIONS split their twin bill against STADE TOULOUSAIN. At the top of the standings MONTPELLIER extended its winning streak to 14 games and remains 1.5 games out of first place. The third-ranked TEMPLIERS SENART improved to 14-10 with a sweep over CLERMONT-FERRAND.
