Just two weeks with a total of six games each for every team are left on the schedule of the regular season in the Italian Baseball League. At the top of the standings FORTITUDO BOLOGNA and TELEMARKET RIMINI already can plan for the playoffs and will battle out first place next week.
The race for the other two playoff berths is still open. Three teams hope to make the jump. They are separated by just a single game. Two of them, DANESI NETTUNO and T&A SAN MARINO, last year’s finalists, play against each other this week. The series opener will be shown on Rai Sports Più (live stream) tonight at 9pm CET. The third club with postseason hopes is CARIPARMA PARMA, which takes on PALFINGER REGGIO EMILIA.
