The TENERIFE MARLINS improved to 22-0 for the 2009 season in the Spanish Division de Honor, making another step towards winning the championship. They defeated EL LLANO twice on Saturday to defend their perfect record. The FC BARCELONA and CB SANT BOI stayed four, respective six games back after sweeps over SAN INAZIO BILBAO and the ASTROS VALENCIA. CB VILADECANS dropped one of two against BASEBALL NAVARRO, losing further ground, similar to HALCONES DE VIGO, which had settled for a split with CD PAMPLONA.
