Dutch team for World Cup in Taipei announced

The baseball federation in the Netherlands announced their roster for the World Cup of Baseball in Taipei, beginning November 6. The team will travel to Taipei at the end of October and plays four test games against Italy, Australia, Spain and host Chinese Taipei. Their first official match is on November 7 against Thailand. Their other opponents in group B are Germany, Cuba, Venezuela, Australia, Canada and Korea.

    It’s Martijn Meeuwis, not Martin. And he’s selected as a catcher who can play outfield as well.

    Some more corrections in the Dutch team:
    No bad feelings, just contribution 🙂

    Stuifbergen instead of Stuiffbergen
    Engelhardt instead of Eengelhardt
    Raily instead of Raify (Legito)

    Amsterdam is the home-place of the club/organization of the Amsterdam Pirates. In the list of players the others are mentioned by their club/organization …
