Just a few hours after completing a long day-night doubleheader on Saturday, NETTUNO and GODO met again on Sunday morning for in a make-up game of Friday’s rainout. DANESI had the better end, as they used a five-run seventh to win 7-1. Manuel Gasparri capped the rally with a three-run homerun. Abraham Nunez drove in two. Manny Alexander scored twice for NETTUNO. Felix Escalona drove in the lone run for DE ANGELIS. Jeff Farnsworth pitched seven innings for the win. He allowed one run on four hits, while striking out nine and walking none. Emmanuel Ulloa matched him for the first six innings. He issued one run on five hits and three bb. He had ten K’s on his belt. Roberto Cabalisti replaced him in the seventh and suffered the loss.
The second postponed game of Friday also was rescheduled for Sunday, but rain denied the third part of the RIMINI-GROSSETO series again. A new date isn’t announced yet. It will be made up on June 20th at 9pm CET.
