However a three-run triple by Mike Heaney in the top of the ninth nearly highlighted a SAARLOUIS comeback in a 6-7 loss. Whitney Pierce hit a two-run homerun for the guests. In the afternoon matinee on Saturday, Eddie Aucoin threw a no-hitter to lead REGENSBURG to a 5-0 victory. He only hit two batters and faced the minimum of 27 thanks to two double plays. He struck out nine for the first no-no in the Bundesliga since the perfect game by Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez twelve months ago.

The two teams combined to hit six homeruns on Sunday afternoon and settled for split. In game one the TORNADOS scored four runs in the top of the ninth en route to a 10-6 win. Due to the results, four teams in the southern standings are separated by percentage points, which should lead to exciting game days in the reminder of the regular season in the Bundesliga.
