The eighth game day in the Spanish Division de Honor brought a change in the standings. The TENERIFE MARLINS held on to their perfect record with two victories over CB SANT BOI, which dropped from second into third. The FC BARCELONA moved up one spot with a two-game sweep against HALCONES DE VIGO. EL LLANO and SAN INAZIO BILBAO also were two-game winners and improved their records and closed the gap to VILADECANS and VIGO in front of them.
