On Friday evening the BUCHBINDER LEGIONAERE REGENSBURG hosts the HAAR DISCIPLES in another night game at the Baseball World Cup venue Armin Wolf Arena. Last year’s champion is still undefeated after twelve games and hopes to continue his winning streak.

The most interesting matchup this week takes place in Mainz, where the ATHLETICS take on the TORNADOS in a battle for third place in the southern division standings. MANNHEIM is currently in third with a 5-5 record, but again has to replace starters Mike Otto and Clary Carlsen due to injuries with Rene Franke and Philipp Hoehlein. MAINZ, which is 5-7, is expected to send out the usual duo of Manuel Moeller and Nils Hartkopf.

HEIDENHEIM and GAUTING complete the game day on Sunday. Additionally on Saturday in the north, leader SOLINGEN tries to increase the gap towards the UNTOUCHABLES in a day-night doubleheader with at the DORTMUND WANDERERS. The BONN CAPITALS travel to HAMBURG to take on the STEALERS.
