Czech Softball Finals start on September 28th

The finalist of the Czech Softball league are 2 teams from Prague. The games start on September 28th and the title will be decided in a best of five series between Joudrs and SaBaT. The first game takes place in Joudrs Park on Friday at 11am and then heads for 2 games on Saturday and Sunday to the Tempo facility which is the temporarly homefield of the SaBaT team. If necessary the series will continue on October 6th & 7th.

The series for 3rd place will be played from September 28th to 30th. The Krc Altron will face the Cechie Prague team in a best of three matchup.

In other games Tempo Prague ended up in 5th place in this years play by beating Kotlarka Prague in a best of three series with 2 to 1 games. The Kotlarka Prague team now has to play Technika Brno for relegation series to stay in the Czech Softball Extraleague in 2008. The team that looses this series will have to play another matchup with the 2nd place team from the 2nd Czech Softball League.

Semifinal results:
SaBaT Praha vs. Krc Altron 3-0 (4-2, 8-1, 5-3)
Joudrs Praha vs. Cechie Praha 3-2 (5-0, 5-8, 3-2, 1-2, 9-1)

5th place series:
Kotlarka Praha vs. Tempo Praha 2-3 (0-9, 3-2, 6-5, 0-7, 4-5)
