European Friendlies Before Premier12 Barcelona Qualifier

All three of the European nations involved in the upcoming WBSC Premier12 2027 Barcelona Qualifier held multi-game warm-up series against high-level international opponents. World No. 17 Germany swept No. 16 Czechia in a three-game warm-up series split between Třebíč and Olomouc. World No. 25 Spain won three of four games in the Serie Amistosa (Friendly Series) against No. 26 France, which they hosted at the Carlos Pérez de Rozas Baseball Field ahead of the Premier12 2027 Barcelona Qualifier.

Finally, No. 14 Italy landed in Barcelona, Spain, after completing a training camp at the New York Mets Performance Centre and Development Facility in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. The games against Escogido were scheduled for the Yankees’ Dominican Complex, where the Leones held pre-season training, while the location of the others unknown. Contrary to published reports, Italy drew two and lost three.

All games were nine innings unless noted by an alternate number in parentheses.
