Julien Monks has committed to joining NCAA D2’s Franklin Pierce University, the French National Baseball Academy has announced.
The 19-year-old US-French dual national, who has lived in France since he was six years old, competed for Ventura Junior College (CA) in 2022, posting a .327/.385/.409 slash line while playing third base. He had 12 multi-hit games and one homer on the season.
Monk’s stated goals include becoming a key cog of the U23 French national team and playing professionally.
