The Czech Republic earned its first win in the Europe/Africa Olympic Baseball Qualifier 2019 with an 11-1 blowout against South Africa on Friday afternoon in Parma. Martin Muzik homered and drove in six runs in the game, which was highlighted by a four-run fifth and a five-run eighth inning for the Czech squad. Petr Cech scored three times. Brett Willemburg crossed the plate for the lone South African run. Boris Bokaj pitched seven innings for the win. Robert Lewis-Walker took the loss.
